RSA + Licensee Training Combo Course (NSW)

RSA Course (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

If you are seeking work in any NSW venue that sells or serves alcohol, it is a requirement to complete a Liquor & Gaming NSW-approved RSA course.

Allies Training Centre is approved to deliver the nationally recognised unit:
SITHFAB002 – Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol

Duration: 7 hours (plus breaks)

In this course, you will learn:
• Responsible service strategies
• Legal obligations when serving alcohol
• Standard drinks, alcohol strength and the effects of alcohol
• When and how to refuse service

RSA competency cards are valid for five (5) years.

Security officers working in licensed venues may also be required to hold an RSA to meet regulatory requirements.

Licensee Training (LT)

Licensee Training is required for certain licensees and approved managers under NSW liquor legislation. This course ensures you understand your obligations in operating a licensed venue responsibly and in accordance with NSW law.

Allies Training Centre delivers Licensee Training in line with Liquor & Gaming NSW requirements.

Duration: 6 hours (plus breaks)

• Understanding liquor licence conditions and compliance obligations
• Managing risk in licensed venues
• Harm minimisation and responsible service frameworks
• Incident management and record-keeping requirements
• Best practice venue management

Licensee Training certification is valid for five (5) years.

To undertake this training, students must meet the following compulsory requirements:

1. RSA must be completed before the Licensee Training
2. Provide valid photo identification on the day of training (e.g. driver’s licence, passport, or other government-issued photo ID).
3. Have sufficient English reading and writing skills to participate in the course and complete the assessment requirements.

• Photo identification: If you do not bring acceptable photo ID on the day, you will not be eligible for a refund. You will be required to reschedule and pay the full course fee again.
• Rescheduling: Rescheduling must be made greater than 48 hours prior to the course start time. Written notice must be emailed to accounts@alliessecurity.edu.au .If less than this, full course fee will be payable to rebook. Cancellations made after the course date will not be accepted, and the full fee will apply for any future booking.
• Cancellations: 7 days required for any cancellations. Less than 7 days notice are non-refundable.
