Enrich your expertise with the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training—a program tailored for individuals in roles with elevated responsibilities in minimizing gambling-related harm. Ideal for gambling floor managers, supervisors in hotels and clubs, as well as hotel licensees and club secretaries, this course is crafted for senior staff within gambling venues. 

Designed to empower gaming floor managers and supervisors, this course equips them to effectively prevent and manage challenging situations involving patrons. Moreover, it serves as an excellent opportunity for those already competent in the RCG Standard course, providing a platform to enhance their knowledge and refine skills specifically in handling difficult patron scenarios. • Live Classroom environment
• 7 – 8 hours including assessment
• Training Centre in the Inner West, close to public transport
• Interim certificate emailed on the day upon successful completion of the course

The Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) course provides the resources and practical skills required to identify and proactively intervene to support patrons that might be experiencing gambling harm. 

The ARCG course covers: 

• Anticipating and managing high-intensity situations using advanced interpersonal skills
• Managing high-intensity situations involving distressed patrons
• Leading a culture of proactive gambling harm minimisation
• Responsible conduct of gambling in practice

To undertake this training, it is COMPULSORY that students: 

1. Bring photo ID on the day. This could be a driver’s license, passport or photo ID.
2. You must be able to read and write in English. If you have difficulty, we recommend you call us before making a booking.
3. Have a current valid RCG competency card. If you do not have a valid RCG card that is current, we have course dates here.

Candidates who have successfully completed the course will have their Service NSW app updated with their ARCG competency. A statement of completion will be issued. If a physical card is required – trainees will need to visit Service NSW. The ARCG competency expires as the same date as your RCG competency. 

• Cancellations less than 7 days will receive not refund.
• Full course fee must be paid for future courses.
• Cancellations after the course date will not be valid, full fee must be paid for future courses.
• If you do not have a valid RCG at the time of training and need to reschedule, full course fee applies.
