Responsible gambling services are available to those who wish to work in NSW venues with gaming machine-related functions.
This can include venues like pubs, clubs and hotels. Allies Security is an approved RTO under Liquor and Gaming NSW.
Trainees must have sufficient English literacy and be able to read and write in English.

Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Training
Allies Training Centre is approved to deliver accredited, nationally recognised RCG training, endorsed by Liquor & Gaming NSW.
This course is suitable for people working in venues such as pubs, clubs, and hotels and provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver responsible gambling services in line with NSW requirements.

Certificates and a competency card
On successful completion, you will receive:
- Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment
- Interim RCG Certificate (valid for 90 days)
You must attend Service NSW within 90 days to obtain your competency card, which is valid for 5 years.
Requirements
Course requirements (compulsory)
To enrol and participate, students must:
- Bring a valid photo ID on the day (driver’s licence, passport, or other approved photo ID).
- Have sufficient English reading and writing skills to complete training and assessment. If you may require support, contact us before booking.
- Be at least 15 years old to complete the course (you can work in the industry from 18 years old).

Refund Policy
- Photo identification: If you do not bring acceptable photo ID on the day, you will not be eligible for a refund. You will be required to reschedule and pay the full course fee again.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling must be made greater than 48 hours prior to the course start time. Written notice must be emailed to accounts@alliessecurity.edu.au .If less than this, full course fee will be payable to rebook. Cancellations made after the course date will not be accepted, and the full fee will apply for any future booking.
- Cancellations: 7 days required for any cancellations. Less than 7 days notice are non-refundable.
For more refund information, contact us. 7 day written notice is required for cancellations. All bookings are subject to $29 non-refundable booking fee outside of this window.

- How long is the RCG interim certificate valid for?
90 days. Within those 90 days you must go to Service NSW to take a phot for your RSA photo card, which will be mailed to you. The card once arrived is valid for 5 years. - How will the training day look like?
Training will be approximately 6.5 hours (incl. break). You will have a theory component, practical component, then an assessment at the end of the day. Once you have completed the course, you will receive your interim via email or printed on the day. - Are you accredited?
Yes! We are approved under Liquor and Gaming NSW to run both the RSA and RCG courses. All our trainers are also approved, with extensive experience in the industry. We assure you, you will have a great learning experience! - Why should I do an RCG course?
- This course is a legal requirement for staff that are working or seeking employment in gambling areas of licensed premises, including hotels and clubs.
- It provides the skills and knowledge required to identify the impact of problem gambler on the community and how to deal with the problems associated with excessive gambling.
