RSA Course

If you are looking for work in any establishment that sells or serves alcohol in NSW, it is a government requirement for you to have completed a Liquor and Gaming NSW approved RSA course (Responsible Service of Alcohol Course).

Allies Training Centre is approved to deliver the accredited, nationally recognised unit SITHFAB002 – Provide responsible service of alcohol.

• This course is suitable for those working in a variety of industries. This course teaches you the skills and knowledge required to serve alcohol in a responsible manner.
• It is endorsed by Liquor and Gaming NSW, and the NSW Liquor Administration Board.
• You will learn about responsible service strategies, the legal obligations of bar staff, and the strengths and effects of alcoholic beverages and standard drinks. Security Officers working in a Licenced Venue are required to have an RSA card to comply with a regulatory requirements.
• RSA competency card is valid for 5 years

RCG Training

The course has been designed to satisfy the requirements of clause 51 of the Gaming Machines Regulation 2002. It requires all secretaries of registered clubs with gaming machines, all hoteliers with gaming machines, and employees of registered clubs and hotels whose duties include gaming machine activities to have completed a Responsible Conduct of Gambling course approved by the Casino, Liquor & Gaming Control Authority. Providing gambling services responsibly is a key skill for all hospitality staff. This includes those who sell and serve gambling activities in licensed venues. It applies to licensees, gaming supervisors, and gaming managers when they are involved in gambling operations.

1. Photo ID required; English skills; 18+ for RCG work roles

• Photo identification: If you do not bring acceptable photo ID on the day, you will not be eligible for a refund. You will be required to reschedule and pay the full course fee again.
• Rescheduling: Rescheduling must be made greater than 48 hours prior to the course start time. Written notice must be emailed to accounts@alliessecurity.edu.au .If less than this, full course fee will be payable to rebook. Cancellations made after the course date will not be accepted, and the full fee will apply for any future booking.
• Cancellations: 7 days required for any cancellations. Less than 7 days notice are non-refundable.
